Connect Wisdom Capital to QuantPower

Connection guide. Verify current release/account availability before relying on this setup. Check Available connections.

Wisdom Capital algo trading with QuantPower runs your own strategy rules on your Wisdom Capital account through the broker's official API, under the same SEBI rules as every other broker. This page sets out what the connection needs, how to set it up and which rules apply.

Key point
This guide shows how to connect a Wisdom Capital account to QuantPower. Confirm the connection and operating route. Broker-hosted clients do not need their own static IP; client-hosted execution uses the client’s own registered static IP. Funds and securities stay with the broker.

Client-hosted connection: what you need

  • A Wisdom Capital trading account, with F&O enabled if you trade options or futures.
  • Your own API key, issued by Wisdom Capital for your account.
  • A static IP address registered with Wisdom Capital for that key.
  • Your own computer or VPS with that static IP, to run QuantPower during market hours.
  • Your Wisdom Capital login with two-factor authentication, once every trading day.
  • A QuantPower plan with algo bots. The QuantPower Standard plan is free during the Beta (₹299/month after); Professional is ₹499/month and Ultimate ₹999/month, GST extra. See pricing.

Client-hosted connection: how to connect Wisdom Capital

Wisdom Capital connects the same way as the other brokers in QuantPower:

  1. Choose the computer or VPS that will run QuantPower. Its static IP is the one you register with Wisdom Capital.
  2. Get your API key from Wisdom Capital and register that static IP with it.
  3. Add the key in QuantPower. Open broker settings, choose Wisdom Capital and enter your API key.
  4. Log in on Wisdom Capital's page with your client ID, password and two-factor code.
  5. Check the connection. Your funds, holdings and positions should appear in QuantPower.
  6. Test first. Run a new strategy in paper trading before you use it on your account.

Your strategies on your Wisdom Capital account

Open sample strategies remain user-editable rules. No template or strategy is tied to this broker or described as approved. Execution uses the route confirmed for your account.

Your funds and securities stay with your broker either way.

Rules that apply at every broker

SEBI's framework for retail algo trading has applied to every broker since 1 April 2026, so the same rules govern Wisdom Capital algo trading as any other broker connection.

RuleWhat it means
Your own API keyAccess only through a unique key issued to you; open APIs are not allowed
Registered static IPAPI orders must come from a static IP registered with your broker
Daily loginSessions end before the next trading day, and you log in again with two-factor authentication
Order rateFewer than 10 orders a second for your own algos; faster algos must be registered with the exchange through the broker
Funds and securitiesThey stay with your broker; a trading API cannot withdraw money

For the client-hosted route, the static IP identifies the computer or VPS sending the orders; the host and broker session must remain available. Broker-hosted execution uses broker infrastructure and does not require the client to obtain a static IP. Confirm the route and current availability before setup.

Client-hosted route only; broker-hosted execution uses broker infrastructure: your strategy in QuantPower on your own computer or VPS, your static IP registered with your broker, your broker's checks, then the exchange (illustration)

QuantPower is trading software. It is not a stockbroker or a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst, and it gives no tips, calls or buy and sell advice. The strategies you build are your own rules, fully visible to you.

Before you choose a broker

Compare these points at any broker you are considering, including Wisdom Capital:

  • API charges: whether the order and market data APIs are free or paid.
  • Brokerage: per order or a flat monthly fee, and what it adds up to over hundreds of orders.
  • Static IP set-up: where you register the IP and how often you can change it.
  • Order rules: which order types the broker accepts from algos, such as limits on market orders.
  • Support: how the broker handles API problems and complaints during market hours.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Wisdom Capital account to use QuantPower?

No. QuantPower connects 100+ Indian brokers, including Wisdom Capital, Zerodha, Upstox, Fyers and IIFL Capital, and you can connect whichever of these you already use.

Can I use QuantPower's strategy templates on my Wisdom Capital account?

Open samples are editable user rules, not broker-specific strategies. Confirm the account connection and applicable operating route.

Does the computer running QuantPower need to stay on?

It depends on the confirmed hosting route. A client-hosted machine must remain available. Broker-hosted execution runs on broker infrastructure and does not require your own computer or static IP.

Do the static IP rules apply to Wisdom Capital accounts?

For the client-hosted route, confirm API access and static-IP registration with the broker. Broker-hosted clients do not need their own static IP. Login requirements still depend on the connection.

Does QuantPower see my Wisdom Capital password?

Broker credentials are entered on the broker's own login page. Follow the documented account connection flow for the confirmed hosting route.

Who handles complaints about Wisdom Capital API orders?

Under SEBI's framework, the broker handles complaints about algo orders placed through its systems. If a complaint is not resolved, you can raise it with SEBI through the SCORES portal.
