Where to begin
New users can take the QuantPower tutorials in this order:
- Set up: getting started with QuantPower covers your workspace and first settings.
- Build: how to create a strategy, then set its entry and exit rules.
- Test: how to backtest a strategy, read the results, then run the strategy in virtual trading.
- Control: set an MTM stop loss and learn to pause automation before any bot goes live.
Before a bot places live orders
- Your own broker account: orders go from your account through the broker's official API, and funds and securities stay with the broker.
- Your own API key and static IP: the API key is yours, used from a static IP linked to your broker account.
- Daily login: you complete the broker's login with two-factor authentication each trading day.
- Order rate: self-built strategies must stay under 10 orders a second.
The broker connection requirements page explains each step.
